Questions & answers

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a secure plug between your AI assistant and MOTHERLINK PRO. Plugged in, Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Gemini works in your own account (your projects, prices, basket and orders) with exactly your access.

Which AI assistants does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT and Codex are tested. Gemini works on personal accounts in the US for now, and Gemini CLI works too. Any other assistant that takes a custom MCP server works the same way: same link, same sign-in.

Do I need API keys or a developer?

No. Copy your MCP link from Account → MCP, add it to your assistant as a custom connector, log in on our page and press Allow. About a minute, start to finish.

Can my assistant place orders without me?

No. Ordering from your balance is off by default, for every app. Off: it gets the order ready and you press Order on the platform. On: it shows the full preview and asks you first, naming the workspace and the amount. Before placing, everything is checked again; if anything changed, nothing is ordered.

How does it pick sites?

It starts from our AI's recommendation, written for each of your projects. If you write your own rules in your assistant's instructions, those always come first. Ask “how did you pick these?” and it explains.
